11/17/08 - Men's Basketball WCC Men's Basketball Weekly Recaps Santa Clara and Saint Mary's kicked off a full week of non-conference action Monday. The Broncos took on UAB in the first round of the NIT Season Tip-Off in Tucson, AZ, losing a close one as the Gaels had a late tip-off against Fresno State live on ESPN as part of a tip-off marathon. Saint Mary's easily took care of Fresno State.
11/18/08 - Men's Soccer WCC Men's Soccer Teams Wrap Up Regular Season All seven WCC men's soccer teams wrapped up their regular seasons. San Francisco walked away with the conference title and will represent the WCC in the NCAA Tournament for the 31st time in program history.
11/15/08 - Men's Soccer San Francisco Captures WCC Men's Soccer Title The West Coast Conference title came down to two matches Sunday, with first place San Francisco taking on Loyola Marymount and second place Gonzaga playing at Saint Mary's. The Zags loss gave the Dons the championship, as they maintained their three point lead. In other conference play, San Diego moved into a tie for second place with its draw against Santa Clara. 11/17/08 - General Release WCC Announces 2008-09 Olympic and Women's Sports Package The West Coast Conference today announced its 2008-2009 Olympic and Women's Sports package to add to its national television contract. This package will allow a minimum of eight "Olympic," or non-men's basketball, games to be broadcasted nationally via ESPNU or CBS College Sports.

San Francisco stayed undefeated with a win over Texas State, to win the 2008 Verizon Wireless Tip-off Classic. Pepperdine lost a nailbiter, with two chances to win at the end, to Arkansas-Little Rock, while Loyola Marymount fell to UC Davis.
